Chiropractic Care

Lower back adjustmentYour nervous system controls all the systems and functions of your body by sending messages between the brain and the body. If there is interference in this communication highway, your body’s ability to adapt to everyday stresses diminishes, and you may experience symptoms such as pain, mobility issues and other dysfunction.

Chiropractic care seeks to restore optimal nervous system function by removing restrictions in the spine that cause interference. We locate these areas through our thorough examination process and, when necessary, X-rays, and then apply an impulse to each of those restrictions. When your spine is “unstuck” and moving as it should, interference in the nervous system is reduced or eliminated—allowing you to feel and function better and adapt to whatever life throws your way.

Therapeutic Services

In addition to chiropractic adjustments, your customized care plan will probably include other therapies to aid in your healing. These may include:

Specific frequencies of safe electrical current are applied to the muscles prior to your adjustment.

This therapy relaxes tight muscles and calms them so that your body can be adjusted more easily. It also helps your adjustments last longer.

Dr. Zac will teach you specific exercises and stretches to help retrain your muscles to hold proper alignment.

These are exercises you can do at home to augment your care, helping your body relearn healthy patterns of movement.
